The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus is an international organization based in Brussels.
It brings together member associations on five continents.
The Federation's mission is to promote and protect the rights of people with spina bifida and hydrocephalus in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and to reduce the prevalence of neural tube defects and hydrocephalus through primary prevention.
The Federation has special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
